This coffee comes from a coffee co-op in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. The coffee beans were grown without any chemicals or fertilizers. This farming process has become traditional since it has been practiced in these farms for more than 15 years. After being pulped from the cherry, the beans were washed in clean spring water from the Aru River.
This coffee has a big, bold flavor; however, it is not a dark roasted coffee which makes it quite unique.
Tastes spicy, earthy, with hints of fig and herbal tea notes.
